Product Description
This is for our top quality, certified and fully plant pass-ported, Walnut (Juglans Regia) hedging plants trees saplings.
These excellent quality plants are sent to you as bare root stock. Suitable for hedging or individual trees. Walnut has large yellowish green leaves and walnuts in Autumn when established. It is super wildlife friendly.
Certified Grade-A plants – field grown and sold as bare root hedge plants. Why not grow your own Walnuts loved by people and wildlife (especially Squirrels). The trees are a lovely addition to any garden even without the fruits (the walnut is in fact a fruit not a nut!) but great fun collecting and storing them for Winter.
Suitable for either hedging or growing as individual plants. Best to avoid windy sites and frost pockets if you are after the fruit – the trees are frost proof, but for a reliable crop, they do best in the Midlands and further south.
