Product Description
This is for our top quality, certified and fully plant pass-ported, Purple Beech (Fagus Sylvatica Atropunicea) hedging plants trees.
These excellent quality plants are sent to you as bare root stock. Suitable for hedging or individual trees. Beech is a semi-evergreen plant giving you all year round privacy and is much more wildlife friendly than an evergreen plant! Easy to grow in most soil types and conditions – just trim once a year at the end of August for a lovely thick hedge! Has purple leaves in the Spring and Summer and brown or copper coloured leaves in the Autumn and Winter.
Plant in a double or zig-zag row at 5 per metre for a lovely thick hedge or in a single row at 3-4 per metre. Certified Grade A plants – semi-evergreen giving you all year round privacy. Suitable for either hedging or growing as individual plants or trees. Mix in with Green Beech for a vibrant hedgerow.
