Easy Access Professional Cold Frame

Product Description

Framework – we use 16 gauge aluminium to create a frame that is sturdy yet lightweight, maintenance free and long lasting.

Glazing – we’ve chosen to glaze this cold frame with 4mm thick double skinned polycarbonate. We chose this as it’s virtually unbreakable, safe and shatterproof. The air gap formed by the two layers making up the polycarbonate ensures effective insulation, helping to keep plants warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Shelving – this cold frame is supplied with two aluminium shelves 122cm x 15cm. These are designed to fit into the middle of the frame, 20cm from the top. These can be added or removed from the cold frame as required.

Access and Ventilation – each side of the cold frame has large, opening roof panels that are supported with aluminium brackets. The support brackets have two opening positions so that you can alter the position if the lids to allow easy access for plant maintenance or set for excellent air circulation.
